URBAN PROJECT
paul gonella
Paul gonella is a famous street photographer, and each of his photographs are taken in the 'quiet corners' of an area, and have a common colour scheme which makes them look very effective as a whole piece. what I like about his work is the aspects he captures which may be just passed over by other people, he notices things which others may not. he has a mixture of urban and quite rural/seaside images.
my photos in the style of Paul Gonella- Urban Abstract

abstract - edited images
to edit this image I used Photoshop to duplicate the original image so that there were four, and increased the canvas size by 100 -200% in both the height and the width. I then moved each of the four images to the corners and used the transform tool to flip the images horizontally and/or vertically so that they blend together to create the image above. I like this because of it's complexity and how it clearly represents the theme of abstract street photography.
i edited this by turning up the hue
to create this edit I moved 2 other images over the original image and decreased the opacity of each to create this complex structure.
I reflected a photograph I took of a scooter wheel.

My Final pieces
These are my 3 final photographs, they will be displayed together, I particularly like them because they remind me of traffic lights which also links to my urban theme.
